Fruitful third meeting of BorderSens consortium

The third BorderSens project meeting took place  on 11 February 2021. Although this meeting was supposed to have been held in Cluj-Napoca (Romania), the restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic forced it to be held online.

 

Publications

As a result of the research activities being carried out within BorderSens project, new knowledge continues to be generated about electrochemical fingerprints of drugs of abuse, aimed at allowing their selective detection in street samples by means of electrochemical pretreated screen printed electrodes.

We continue to make known the brilliant researchers that are working hard in our project. In this issue, we introduce Xavier, Marta, and Dionisia from UAB and Amorn from NICC.

 

Project results

The first results of the project, aimed at unravelling the electrochemical behaviour of certain illicit drugs and their precursors, have been made public.

 

PEN-CP: Pan-European Network of Customs Practitioners

BorderSens and PEN-CP have recently established a collaboration which is already beginning to bear fruit.
