It is my pleasure to introduce the 1st newsletter of the BorderSens project: Border detection of illicit drugs and precursors by highly accurate electrosensors. Here, you can find information about this ambitious project, the promising results obtained so far, and the coming events in which we will participate.
BorderSens aims at developing key enabling technologies to be used at the borders by custom control authorities and police forces to quickly and accurately detect illicit drugs and precursors entering the EU countries. In order to achieve this challenging objective, 16 partners from 8 EU member states, representing Border Authorities, police forces, national forensic institutes, universities and companies, will continue working together until August 2023, since the kick-off meeting held in Antwerp on September 2019.
I would like to take advantage of this opportunity to share with you a short video on BorderSens, where you can know more about the project and the technology behind it. Hope you like it!
